Is this right for me?

A steady, supported entry into psychedelic experience

This retreat is an invitation to begin slowly with guidance and care.

The Foundations Retreat is designed for individuals who are new to psychedelic experience or who feel called to explore this path in a supported and intentional way.

Rather than emphasizing peak states or dramatic breakthroughs, this retreat focuses on building the inner and relational capacity that allows meaningful experiences to unfold safely over time.

Participants learn how to stay connected to themselves while navigating intensity, uncertainty, silence, and emotional expansion — both within their own process and in relationship with others.

This approach prioritizes pacing, embodiment, and psychological safety so that insight becomes integrated change rather than a temporary experience.

No prior psychedelic experience is required.

Transformation through

Relational Practice

The Canopy Method understands psychedelic work as fundamentally relational.

Rather than focusing only on internal experience, participants develop the capacity to remain present with themselves and with others — even during moments of intensity, silence, emotional expansion, or uncertainty.

Through guided practice, participants learn to:

• stay grounded while moving through unfamiliar inner states
• attune to another person without rescuing, fixing, or withdrawing
• maintain clear boundaries while remaining open and responsive
• engage in relational repair and integration after challenging experiences
• return to embodied awareness as a reliable source of stability

This approach builds a steady inner and relational capacity that endures beyond the retreat — not just temporary insight.

Over time, participants begin to trust their own presence as a foundation for transformation.

Foundations is designed for :

• First-time or psychedelically-naive participants
• Community members seeking meaningful personal exploration
• Therapists, guides, or professionals curious about facilitation pathways
• Individuals who value emotional safety, pacing, and depth
• Those who want preparation before engaging in more advanced retreat work

The Retreat Container

This is a structured four-day immersive experience held in a quiet natural setting near Eugene, Oregon.

The rhythm of the retreat is intentionally paced to support emotional safety, relational depth, and embodied integration.

Participants move through a carefully guided progression that includes:

• preparation circles to establish trust and orientation
• partnered relational practice grounded in presence
• a supported psilocybin journey day
• a witnessing day cultivating attunement and stability
• integration dialogue and embodied grounding practices

Cohorts remain intentionally small so that each participant is known, supported, and held within a psychologically attuned environment.

Each retreat is intentionally small to support deep relational work.

Learning through both journeying and witnessing

Each participant moves through both sides of the relational field.

• One supported psilocybin journey day
• One medicine-adjacent witnessing day with a partner
• Daily embodiment and relational practice
• Preparation and integration support
• Small cohort container for depth and safety

This structure allows participants to experience transformation without bypassing the skills required to hold it.
