Take your learning to the next level !

Canopy Collective has been operating within Oregon’s legal psilocybin framework since its inception. Our Oregon-based team has facilitated over 1,000 experiential retreats, training immersions, and supervised practice containers.

The Fundamentals Retreat is a synthesis of this lived experience. It distills what we have learned about relational safety, embodied regulation, ethical boundaries, and the competencies required to support others in therapeutic non-ordinary states.

Upcoming retreat dates:

April 27–30, 2026
May 25–28, 2026
June 8–11, 2026

Overview

Designed specifically for clinicians who have completed their didactic training, the Fundamentals Retreat is a four-day experiential immersion with Canopy Collective that bridges the gap between conceptual understanding and embodied facilitation.

Four-Day Immersion Schedule

Day One – Preparation
Orientation, relational agreements, embodied practice, and partner preparation.

Day Two – Journey Day
Participants engage in their personal non-ordinary state experience, supported by facilitators and their assigned partner.

Day Three – Witnessing Practice
Participants serve as medicine-adjacent witnesses for their partner, practicing the fundamentals of facilitation.

Day Four – Integration
Group reflection, integration, and translation of experiential learning into clinical application.

The Canopy Method

The Canopy Method views transformation as inherently relational.

The partnered structure creates a powerful opportunity to experience both sides of the transformative field: being deeply witnessed and witnessing another. This allows participants to feel into how they show up in connection and what becomes possible when they are met with genuine, grounded presence.

  • The team at Canopy Collective is one of the most experienced and cohesive in the country, having been at this since day one of the legal framework in Oregon. This really shows up in their work which is so full of wisdom, heart and hard-won clarity of purpose. They really show up and see you and will meet you in your process. The foundation of it all is love.

    Jim Kemp

  • The Canopy staff are truly amazing. I always feel so held, supported, and cared for. Their knowledge and experience is deep and they are endlessly refining their craft. As a therapist, I don’t always get to feel held and supported. There’s no one else I would journey with.

    Third Time Participant

  • My time with Canopy Collective was grounded in love and reverence, which were expertly held by the team. I am taking away so many tools to add in my work with clients and also my own personal healing. The facilitators are incredibly attuned to the needs of the individual as well as the group.

    — Retreat Participant

  • I would recommend Canopy collective to anyone interested in working seriously in the medicine field. Their level of professionalism, compassion and support is beyond any training experience I’ve had, and I’ve been around the professional block more than a few times.

    David Greenleaf

  • It has been challenging for me to let go and open to the teachings and wisdom of journeys because I have a very strong protector/manager. The skill, knowledge, and strength of the staff and what they have created here allowed me to experience that for the first time. I am deeply grateful. I wouldn’t want to journey anywhere else!

    Retreat Participant

  • Canopy Collective provided a very powerful and impactful experience of deep connection with myself in relationship to other and provided a loving, safe, and solid container that enabled love, belonging, and deep healing work to transpire. The gifted facilitators bring enormous heart and soul to medicine work, along with clarity and deep reverence for this sacred work. This space is my home away from home.
