Application + readiness process

Step into a mythic container for transformation.

The Summer Solstice Retreat invites participants into an archetypal journey inspired by the descent of Inanna — an ancient story of surrender, stripping away, revelation, and renewal.

Over four days, participants move through an intentional relational field where symbolic experience meets grounded presence.
This retreat is not about performance or peak experience.
It is about meeting what is real and emerging with greater clarity and capacity.

The structure includes:

• One self-medicine journey day exploring descent and revelation
• One witnessing day supporting a partner’s emergence
• Embodiment and attunement practices translating myth into lived experience
• Integration circles and relational reflection

THE MYTH OF INANNA

Descent as transformation.

Inanna’s story is one of entering the underworld and surrendering what once defined her — status, certainty, identity.

At each gate she releases something.
Not because she is weak.
Because transformation requires contact with what is true.

Participants are invited to explore:

• What must be shed
• What is revealed when defenses soften
• What becomes possible after symbolic death and renewal

This mythic frame provides a powerful psychological container while remaining grounded in relational safety and presence.

Relational presence as the ground of change.

The Canopy Method views transformation as relational.

Participants practice:

• Meeting inner material with embodied honesty
• Attuning to another’s symbolic surrender and emergence
• Holding presence without rescuing, collapsing, or withdrawing
• Integrating insight into relational life beyond the retreat

This approach cultivates resilience, clarity, and emotional integrity.

This retreat may be a good fit for:

• Individuals drawn to mythic or archetypal frameworks
• Those seeking symbolic or seasonal transformation
• Participants wanting relationally-grounded psychedelic work
• People ready to engage depth work within a supported container

Duration: 4 days

Participants experience both sides of the relational field:

This paired structure allows participants to experience both vulnerability and responsibility in the transformational process.
